Marko Perković Thompson held a concert on August 4, 2025, at the Sinj Hippodrome in front of more than 150,000 people, making it one of the most significant ticketed events in history. The concert started with a delay due to heavy traffic and large crowds arriving at the venue and lasted until shortly after 1 a.m.

Songs performed included “Ustani iz sjene” (“Rise from the Shadows”), “Ravnoteža” (“Balance”), “Dolazak Hrvata” (“The Arrival of the Croats”), “Pukni puško” (“Fire, Gun”), “Zagora,” and others. The atmosphere was highly emotional and patriotic. During the show, Thompson delivered a speech reflecting on the power of ideas and the values cherished by his fans, urging young people not to let the nation be manipulated. He ended the performance with the songs “Prijatelji” (“Friends”) and “Lijepa li si” (“How Beautiful You Are”).
The event posed significant organizational challenges due to the massive crowd, with strong police and emergency service presence. There were major traffic jams in and around Sinj, which cleared only in the early morning hours of the following day. Thompson thanked the audience afterward for their patience and love, noting that he himself had struggled to reach the stage due to the congestion.
The evening also featured an impressive drone show and a lavish light display, with the crowd singing along with Thompson for the entire night in a vibrating, patriotically charged atmosphere.
This concert showcased the strength and loyalty of Thompson’s fan base in Croatia and the diaspora. At the same time, Sinj once again confirmed its status as a city of heroes and a vital center of Croatian culture and identity.
