Club programs Future Scope from Zagreb and Roots from Split join forces this summer and bring to Split one of the most anticipated techno events of the year! After Zagreb and Istria, it is time for Paul Kalkbrenner to conquer Dalmatia and, on August 8, 2025, perform in the Split club Porat.
In the world of electronic music, Paul Kalkbrenner is an institution. His career spans over two decades, during which he has become synonymous with uncompromising, emotional, and monumental techno sound. His performances are not classic DJ sets – every Kalkbrenner live act is an audiovisual journey through his musical vision, with sets woven exclusively from his tapes. Paul Kalkbrenner lives and performs his music exclusively.
He gained world fame with the cult film Berlin Calling, in which he played the central role of the troubled but genius DJ and producer Ickarus—the personification of a musician Kalkbrenner never wanted to become.
The film’s soundtrack spawned one of the most famous electronic anthems of all time, Sky & Sand, which still holds the record for the longest-running single in the German charts.
His eight studio albums and hundreds of millions of streams confirm his status as an artist who does not follow trends but instead sets them. Kalkbrenner is the first techno artist to perform on the main stage
stage of Tomorrowland, played in front of 400,000 people at the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and sold out the biggest concert venues in Europe and the world.
Along with him, the atmosphere in Split will be warmed up by leading local techno artists. DJ Jock, Roots resident and founder and one of the most respected Croatian producers known for releases on prestigious world labels, who always brings raw energy to the dancefloor. The resident and organizer of the clubbing program Future Scope Shipe is an unavoidable name in the Zagreb electronic scene, and there are also Toni Juranović, a trained musician, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ, and Miro from Underground Control, who will open the evening.
Tickets are available through the Entrio system. The most affordable are early bird tickets in a limited quantity at 40 euros, which will be grabbed only by the fastest! After that, the price rises to 45 euros, and there will be several more price levels until the event date itself. Buying tickets in time ensures the best price and a place at one of the most spectacular techno events of the summer!
