“SRETAN SLUČAJ” IS THE NEW SINGLE FROM DALEKA OBALA – DEAN, ZOKI AND JADRAN

Daleka Obala, Dean, Zoki, and Jadran premiered the song and video clip “Sretan slučaj” to announce the new studio album.

The new song features the recognizable sounds of Zoki’s drums, Jadran’s seductive guitar sequences, and Dean Dvornik’s convincing bass. It tells a story about the happy moments of first meeting and falling in love, which we often return to in our minds.

The expected far-coast amalgam simultaneously contains today’s musical freshness and the well-known atmosphere from the singing times when “… there in Bače Jadran Younga sang, Dean would give himself only for her, and Zoki became the drummer of the Far Coast…”. As an established singer, Dean Dvornik enriches the song with his well-known singing style when he sings “Sretan slučet”.

Having grown up in the same Split musical environment, he is simply the right man for what the Daleka obala has in store for us. Everyone who follows this great band knows that the terms “Splitski Đir”, “Splitska dica”, “Splicanistika”, and “Daleka obala” are not synonyms, but they share mutually necessary components.

Astutely, a long time ago, Zlatko Gall diagnosed that Daleka Obala is “the most Split-like of all the actors of the Split pop-rock renaissance” and “(…) it acts as the confluence of all the main streams of the Split musical tradition!”

Recorded in the Croatia Records Studio under the sound direction of Mauro Širol, the new song “Sretan služet” announces a new era of the favorite band.
